You can tell that New Orleans is a jazz city the minute you step out of the airplane. A large mural at the New Orleans Airport depicting the giants of jazz welcomes visitors.
Plenty of nightly jazz sessions take place at the Bourbon Street. This establishment tries to mimic the famous, nearby Preservation Hall's name.
